→ Recently released COBENFY™ (xanomeline + trospium chloride), approved for treating schizophrenia by targeting muscarinic acetylcholine receptors (M₁ and M₄), rather than blocking dopamine D₂ receptors like traditional antipsychotics.
Animal Care
Merck & Co. (MRK), develops veterinary vaccines and medicines for dogs, cats, sheep, chickens, cows, pigs and horses.
→ Developed BRAVECTO® (fleas & ticks treatment in dogs/cats), SENTINEL® (intestinal parasites + heartworm prevention in dogs), VETSULIN® insulin for diabetes in dogs/cats, PANACUR®, SAFE-GUARD® (dewormers) for livestock & small animals, ZUPREVO® (antibiotic) for respiratory disease in cows/cattle.
→ In May 2025, received U.S. FDA approval for treatment of ear infections in dogs associated with certain bacteria (including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, Malassezia pachydermatis).

Next Era Energy (NEE) helps reduce emissions reductions and implement a transition to clean energy.
→ Operates over 160 wind farms and runs solar power plants both utility-scale
across the U.S. & Canada.
→ Recently partnered with Entergy to develop up to 4.5 gigawatts of new solar plus energy storage in several U.S. states and teamed up with industrial users: like the Phillips 66 project in California, where NextEra built a solar facility to reduce reliance on grid power at a refinery.
Global Food Security
Corteva (CTVA) runs agricultural empowerment programs across developing countries improving access to quality seeds and technology for small farmers.
→ CTVA in Ethiopia, hybrid maize seed program, increasing yields and post-harvest management. In Zambia, CTVA supports 10,000 farmers with training and sustainable methods. In Tanzania, the Feed the Future program provides inputs, agronomy training, and market access for 400,000 farmers. In Kenya, dairy-forage and nutrition initiatives under the Nourishing Prosperity Alliance. In Ghana, CTVA promotes climate-smart hybrid seeds and credit access for 20,000 small farmers. In India, demonstration plots and local seed production projects support small farmers. In Indonesia, collaboration with PRISMA to raise corn yields for 75,000 farmers in East Java. In Myanmar, CTVA uses agro-dealer networks and demo plots to deliver agronomic training. In Mexico, CTVA works with 3,000 farmers in improved practices and tech adoption.
